the West: Exit J27 of
the M5 towards Tiverton and at the roundabout near
Tiverton follow the signs for Dulverton, taking the
A396 up the beautiful Exe valley. From Dulverton the
B3223 takes you over the moor for 7 miles when you
will see Withypool signposted on the left.
From
the East: We suggest you
exit at J27 from the M5 as above, from which we are
about 35 minutes journey time. Or exit at J25 of the
M5 follow the signs (easy) through Taunton for Minehead.
Approx 3 miles out of Taunton turn left signposted Exford
& Wheddon Cross. (Half mile past Raleghs Cross Hotel
turn right at the Chapel). Go straight over at Wheddon
Cross. Half a mile beyond Exford turn left signposted
Dulverton. Approx. 1 mile Withypool is signposted right.

Both:
In the village turn right at the Royal
Oak Inn and in approximately 150 yards keep left
when the road forks. Westerclose is about
100 yards on the left.
HOW TO GET TO WESTERCLOSE
BY CAR:- There is a very
limited Saturday bus service between Taunton and Withypool.
Do ask us for any bus details.
